Every Level Unlocks Something
Levelling a skill in Everworld isn't just a number going up — every skill has a full list of milestones, each tied to a specific level, that unlock new tools, recipes, or nodes the moment you reach them. A new axe tier, a fishing spot you couldn't touch before, a recipe that was greyed out — all of it is gated behind a level, and all of it is listed up front.
Milestones Show Up Across Every Skill
Woodcutting: new axe tier
Mining: new pickaxe tier
Smithing: new recipe
Crafting: new bow tier
Cooking: new recipe
Check Your Skills Panel
Open the Skills tab in your sidebar and select any skill to see its full milestone list — what you've already unlocked, and exactly what's coming at your next few levels. Nothing is hidden or discovered by trial and error; if a recipe or tool exists for a skill, it's listed there with its level requirement.
Tip: Before you commit to grinding a skill, it's worth skimming its milestone list — knowing that a much faster tool is only 5 levels away can change whether you push through now or gather somewhere else in the meantime.
What Kinds of Rewards to Expect
Milestones aren't uniform across skills — what you unlock depends on what that skill actually produces:
- ◆Gathering skills (Woodcutting, Mining, Fishing) mostly unlock new tool tiers and new nodes to gather from.
- ◆Production skills (Smithing, Crafting, Cooking) mostly unlock new recipes — a new weapon, a new bow, a new dish.
- ◆Combat unlocks access to fighting higher-level monsters, since your effective combat level is your Combat skill level directly.
Not every skill in Everworld has milestones defined yet — if a skill's panel shows a "coming soon" message instead of a list, that skill's reward content simply hasn't been built out.
