World Events

Server-wide bonuses and community challenges — what they are and how to take part.

What World Events Are

World events are temporary, server-wide happenings that affect everyone playing at the same time — no signing up required. When one is active, a banner announces it and a HUD panel appears in the top-left of your screen for the duration.

Active events sit as a stone-card panel in the top-left, with a countdown to when they end.

Types of Events

Two kinds of world events currently run in Everworld:

  • Bonus Yield — a multiplier applied to how much you gather from a specific skill (or every skill, depending on the event) for as long as the event lasts. Nothing to opt into — just play as normal and the bonus applies automatically.
  • Community Challenge — a shared goal the whole server works toward together, tracked via a progress bar. Players contribute by gathering a specific item or performing actions in a specific skill; once the community total hits the goal, everyone who contributed (above any minimum threshold) receives a reward.
💡

Tip: For a Community Challenge, check the HUD's requirements before you start — contributing toward the wrong item or skill won't count toward the goal.

Timing

Every event runs on a fixed window with a start and end time, shown as a countdown in the HUD. Once that window closes, the event ends automatically — there's no need to manually claim anything for a Bonus Yield event, since its effect simply stops applying.

Events aren't a constant presence — treat an active one as a reason to prioritise whatever it's boosting while it lasts, rather than something to plan your whole session around.
